• Keep the regular monthly rate and simply skip one of the five
Travel Policy
Lessons are offered in-studio located in Leander or in the comfort of your home (based on availability).
A $5 travel fee per lesson applies to in-home lessons to help cover fuel costs.
Lesson Cancellation Policy
There’s no long-term contract required — lessons are billed month-to-month for flexibility. However, to ensure smooth scheduling and planning, a 30-day courtesy notice is requested if you plan to pause or discontinue lessons. This helps keep the calendar organized and allows time to offer the slot to another student if needed.
Testimonials
“I have been taking lessons from Josh for 3 years. He has worked with my band and even written music for us that we couldn’t find online. He has helped me grow as a performer and has taught me not only useful vocal, piano and guitar skills but also how to present myself on stage. I would not be where I am without his coaching and advice. I now have the confidence to perform.”
“Like most families, our days can be hectic: filled with academics, extra-curricular activities, church and just hanging out with friends. I love that Joshua offers some flexibility with the schedule. When we are able to keep the stress of conflict between the various activities to a minimum, this allows us to enjoy and thrive in the field of music!”
“Joshua offers unbelievable personal (and personable) instruction. He has the utmost appreciation for his students and their families, strives for two-way communication, respects his client’s time and sets realistic expectations for those who are under his instruction. Most of all, he encourages learning and having fun!”
“I always hoped my children would show an interest in learning an instrument, if nothing more than to gain an appreciation for music. When we met Joshua, I knew that his easygoing nature along with his knowledge of music would be a wonderful fit for our family. Joshua is an absolutely amazing musician and instructor! My children have very different learning styles and he is able to tailor the lessons to their individual needs. He fosters their independence to be responsible for their own learning while communicating personally with me on their progress and the path forward.”
“Josh Roush has been an outstanding teacher and mentor to my teenage son. He cares that his students truly learn. He encourages them to grow and develop confidence in themselves. Josh is invested in his students to not only be able to play music, but to become true musicians with all that this entails. Our son is considering a career in music and thanks to Josh’s guidance, he will move into that endeavor with an informed foundation and a solid belief in himself.”
